In addition to this online registration, all required ISEF forms (1, 1A, Research Plan and 1B) must be submitted to the FCPS Secondary Science Office by 11:59 PM onSunday, March 2, 2025. Additional forms may be required for potentially hazardous projects (human subjects, vertebrates, biological agents, institution based projects, hazardous chemicals, etc.). Middle school students should prepare a science fair display board that summarizes their project and be prepared to answer questions from judges. All judging will be done in person on March 22, 2025 at Tuscarora High School.
Category ribbons, specialty awards and Thermo Fisher JIC finalists will be determined during judging.
Results of the fair will be announced the day of the fair at the awards ceremony.

High school students should prepare a science fair display board that summarizes their project and be prepared to answer questions from judges. All judging will be done in person on March 22, 2025 at Tuscarora High School.
High school students are also required to upload a project presentation (in addition to the physical project board), a short 2-minute video explaining their project, and a quad chart by 11:59 PM March 16, 2025. These additional materials will be used by high school judges to preview projects AND are required of the finalists advancing to Regeneron ISEF in Dallas.
Participants may also submit the following optional components: a 1 minute video demonstration, a research paper and/or a lab notebook image/excerpt. Submission links and more information about each component can be found on the Project Submission Page. All project components will be submitted via Google Forms.
