CAD Architecture Program Overview
CAD Architecture Program Overview
CAD Architecture is a college-prep, dual enrollment college credit, honors weighted program. This program prepares students with entry-level architectural drafting and design skills used in college programs and in career choices throughout the architecture industry. This course covers a broad range of CAD skills and design principles, with a focus on residential architecture. In this course, students will create a full suite of 2D and 3D architectural drawings and models using several CAD software applications.

This program prepares students with entry-level technical drafting, design and problem-solving skills used in college engineering programs and in career choices throughout the engineering industry. This course covers a broad range of engineering-centered computer-aided design skills and principles, with a focus on technical drafting of mechanical systems. In this course, students will use CAD software applications to create a full suite of industry standard technical drawings with isometric and orthographic views, virtual 3D models and animations, and prototypes.
