School Counselors meet with individual students based on student, teacher, and/or parent request.
School Counselors provide classroom lessons, centered around social emotional learning and addressing the needs of the whole child.
School Counselors work with small groups of students on a variety of topics, including grief/loss, social skills, emotional regulation, executive functioning skills, and a variety of other topics. Typically, group participants are referred by their classroom teacher and/or parent/guardian.
CES collaborates with various approved outside therapy agencies that can provide counseling services within our school. If you are interested in this service for your child, please contact the Counseling Department at CES. CES currently has approved direct partnerships with the following agencies for this service:
