The Media Center appreciates your support as we work to foster a love of reading in our students. The Media Center does accept monetary and gift donations as outlined below. You may also select books that students have requested by accessing the FCHS Media Center Wish List on Amazon linked here.
FCHS Media Center Gift/Donation Policy
The Freeburg School District welcomes gifts of books, periodical subscriptions, works of art, media, other educational materials and equipment, as well as monetary donations for the purchase of media center materials and equipment.
Donors should understand that the gift is irrevocable and subject to the statements set forth in this Gift Policy:
Gifts are irrevocable; those not added to the collection or those deleted from the collection may be disposed of as the media specialist deems appropriate.
Designated media center personnel reserve the right to determine the appropriate use, housing, and maintenance of gifts.
Under no circumstances does the media specialist or any other school district personnel appraise gifts. Gift values will not be appraised for income tax purposes.
