Wow, talk about a full-circle moment! As an Edgefield County native and Fox Creek graduate, it is a privilege to be a teacher at my alma mater.
After graduating from FCHS, I attended Augusta University to pursue my degree in Middle-Level Education with concentrations in English Language Arts and Social Studies. In 2020, the pandemic hit right as I was starting my career over the river in Georgia.
Most recently, I graduated from Augusta University with a Master's Degree in Instruction with an endorsement in Gifted Education. I am currently enrolled at AU in the Educational Leadership program. Go Jags!
In addition to teaching, I have a passion for serving students outside the classroom. I am the sponsor for Junior Advisory and a member of the FCHS Alumni Communications and Social Committees. Prior to going back to school, I served as an assistant cheer coach.
In my free time, my favorite things to do include: going to the beach, playing hide and seek with my niece and nephew, creating delicious charcuterie boards, and going to pilates and yoga with my friends.
