Background:

Born and raised in Augusta, Georgia, I am the second-oldest daughter to parents of 4 girls.  My mom and dad have been married for 46 years.  My mom is a retired Elementary School teacher, and she inspired me to become a teacher as well.  I graduated from Augusta State with a degree in English Education and went on to Georgia Southern to earn both my M.Ed. and Ed.S.  in Instructional Technology.  I am certified to teach English for grades 6-12 and also hold a certification as a Media Specialist for K-12.   This year will be my 15th year at Fox Creek!
