Course overview

This course covers the structures and functions within living organisms and how those organisms interact with their environments. 

Specifically, we will have an introduction to biology and the chemistry of life. We will learn about the structures and functions of cells, cellular energy, and the cell cycle. There will be an introduction to genetics, DNA and protein synthesis, and biotechnology. Evolution, classification, ecology, and human impact on the environment will also be taught.
