Hi! My name is Wimberly Yon, and this is my third year at FCHS. I earned my B.A. in Studio Art with a concentration in Printmaking from South Carolina State University, and later obtained a Master’s Degree in Teaching and Learning from Argosy University of Atlanta.
My passion lies in meeting students where they are and helping them grow in their artistic and theatrical talents. I’m committed to cultivating a creative, supportive environment where students feel empowered to express themselves.
I live in Graniteville, SC with my husband and our 10-year-old daughter. In my free time, I enjoy creating art, writing, and spending quality time with my family.
I’m thrilled to continue my journey at The Creek, and I look forward to another inspiring year of creativity and growth!
My name is Emily Felton. I am a graduate of Strom Thurmond High School and Lander University. I have a Bachelors of Science in Special Education. I have taught at Strom Thurmond, North Augusta, and Ninety Six High School. My husband and I have been married for 5 years. He is currently a coach and teacher at Strom Thurmond High School. We have a beautiful daughter named Winnie! We also have a cat, Adeline, and a dog, Dixie. My favorite things to do are enjoy some coffee while reading a good book, spending time with my family, and road-tripping!
