About our Director

My name is Wimberly Yon and this is my 1st year here at FCHS. I have been teaching Visual Art for 18 years and I have a great love for Theatre. I received my B.A. in Studio Art Printmaking from South Carolina State University and a Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning from Argosy University of Atlanta. I plan on meeting students where they are and enhancing their talents in art and theatre. 

I live in Graniteville, SC with my husband, 8-year-old daughter, and Yorkshire Terrier, Rosy. I enjoy creating art, writing, and spending time with family. I am a self-published author and illustrator of, "Allyson & Sam". I am also currently working on “Allyson & Ballet” with co-author and illustrator, my daughter Allyson. I will strive to share my visions of art and drama this year, beginning with South Carolina Artists.

I am excited to begin this school year as a teacher at Fox Creek High School!
