As a senior, Laura currently plans to study psychology at Taylor University in the fall. She is the daughter of Randy and Tonia Edwards and has also been a part of five-ish FCHS plays: This Christmas Could Get Ugly as Nellie Knacker, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown as Woodstock, Grease as Frenchy, Murder in 3-D, and Seussical as Gertrude. She is a member of Drama Club, Student Council, National Honor Society, MCATZ, the Women’s Soccer Team, and Choir. Laura spends her free time consuming large quantities of coffee and shopping at Target. She would like to thank her friends and family for their continued support.
Kathy and Jimmy Dean’s daughter, Kalene, is a senior this year. She plans on going to Indiana State University for a double major in business administration and theatre then opening a theatre and arts center. Kalene is a leader in many clubs such as the vice president of Drama Club, president of Book Club, captain of English Academic Team, and others. She also spends time playing soccer, working at Higher Grounds, and with friends and family. Kalene has been a part of theatre productions for over 7 years including playing Marian Paroo in The Music Man Junior, and many others. She would like to thank her family, friends, and past as well as current directors, creative teams, and casts for helping her find something she loves and supporting her throughout it.
Olivia McIntosh is the daughter of Jerry and Michelle McIntosh. Olivia is a junior and has been in two plays. She was Patty in Grease! and Wanda Gavin in Murder in 3-D. Last year Olivia would have been in Seussical as a bird girl. Olivia is a junior and is part of the Drama Club and PRISM Club. She spends her free time singing, drawing, and playing video games. Olivia would like to thank Mr. Hofer, Mr. Williams, and Ms. Murray for all of their hard work. She also wants to thank everyone who made this show possible! :)
As a senior, Felicity is planning on going to school to be a large animal vet. She is a sophomore and has been in three musicals; Aladdin as Iago, Singing in the Rain as Miss Dinsmore and the Teacher, and Little Women as Margret March. Daughter of Hope and Mark Bohman, in her free time she likes to ride horses, draw, play soccer, be outside, and hang out with friends. She would like to thank her parents for driving her to and from practice and Mr. Hofer, Mr. Williams, Mrs. Murray, and all of the cast and crew for making this show possible.
Bethany is a sophomore, daughter of Jeremy and Hollie Noah. She has been in Aladdin as a Narrator, Annie as an usherette, Seussical as Thing Two, and finally Beth in today's performance of Little Women. In her free time Bethany can be caught singing, dirt bike riding, reading, or catching up on Marvel movies. She would like to thank her parents for always supporting her and not only being her parents but her friends as well.
Derek Brimhall, a sophomore, is the son of Darrell and Kendra Brimhall, who in December of 2019 moved to Brookville from Snowflake, Arizona. He has played Mayor Shinn in The Music Man Jr. and most recently, Specs in Newsies. He hopes to go into the medical field and enjoys math, history and the sciences. He likes to golf, play piano, cook and bake, be outside and learn about the world. He wants to thank his parents for their willingness to let him participate in this musical, and his sister, Emily, for her exceptional performance in helping him memorize his lines.
As a sophomore, Jake is planning on going to Ball State for theatre. He has been in five plays; Aladdin Jr. as Aladdin, Singing in the Rain Jr. as Don Lockwood, Grease as Doody, Annie Jr. as part of the crew, and (the show that never was) Seussical as one of the three Wickersham siblings. In the current show he is playing Professor Bhaer. Son of Kelly and Rob Bulmer, Jake works on Fridays and Saturdays every other week at Third Place on Main Street and spends his free time with family or playing video games. Jake would like to thank his Mom and Dad for picking him up from practices and encouraging him.
As a junior, Allan is planning on going to college for computer science. He is a member of the book club and programming club and therefore has a love for reading and programming as well as mathematics. His parents are Brandy and Clint Reece and he has 5 siblings. Allan’s hobbies include walking, listening to music, reading, and coding. He has been in other plays like A Tale of Two Cities as Marquis St. Evrémonde, Scapino as a member of the cast, and is playing in Little Women as John Brooke. Allan would like to thank Brandy Reece, his mother, for helping him with rides and his girlfriend BreAnna Polyak for helping him though the stress of doing a show and keeping up with school as well as everyone else who has helped him throughout the process.
As a sophomore, Jacoba Hensley, daughter of Mark and Mary Jo Hensley, is playing Aunt March. She has participated in one other play, Aladdin, as a crewmember. Jacoba plans on going to Purdue University and majoring in Biology and Chemistry with a minor in Physics. Currently, she participates in FCA, book club, social studies and math academic team, Students for Life, band, and Youthquake. Jacoba also enjoys reading, hanging out with friends, and babysitting some afternoons and weekends. She would like to thank Mark, Mary Jo, and Zach Hensley for picking her up from practices and Felicity Bohman for making her tryout with her.
As a junior, Joe plans on finishing high school with Academic Honors. He then plans to find out what he wants to do for a living and then go to college preferably Purdue University. He is the son of Don and Angie Riffle. This will be his first show playing the part of Mr. Lawrence in Little Women although he was in the Seussical crew as part of tech before it was cancelled last year. In school Joe is a part of band and choir and likes to play video games, watch shows and movies, walk, and participate in Boy Scouts and 4-H outside of school. He would like to thank his grandparents for supporting him in everything he does and his parents for encouraging him and helping him learn his lines.
As a junior, Lily is planning on attending either Ohio State University or Indiana University for East Asian Language Studies. She has been in four plays; Into the Woods Jr. as the Witch, Singing in the Rain Jr. as Lina Lamont, Grease as a chorus member, and Annie Jr. as Ms. Hannigan. Daughter of Jill and Tom Buerkle, Lily spends her free time going to coffee shops, shopping, playing video games, and listening to music. She would like to thank Mr. Hofer, Ms. Murray, and Mr. Williams.
Lauren Seibert is the daughter of Scott and Michelle Seibert. She is currently a sophomore at Franklin County High School. Along with Little Women, Lauren has been in Aladdin Jr. playing the role of Narrator #4, Annie Jr. playing Boylan Sister #2, and Murder in 3-D playing Amy Pernell. Some things that Lauren is involved in at school are drama club, FCA, choir, student council, Spanish club, and track. Lauren likes to take pictures and hang out with her cat, Louie, in her free time. Her future plans include studying psychology at Indiana University. She gives a special thank you to her parents, who support her through anything she tries, and Mr. Hofer, for being a great sponsor for all members of the drama club.
Avery Burns is currently in his first year of high school as a freshman. He lives with his mom and dad, Clint Reece and Brandy Reece. In the musical, Avery is currently an old knight. Avery has future plans of being a social studies teacher or a doctor. His activities in school are chess club and drama club. In his free time he likes to play video games and go outside. He also likes to work with wood and help his dad work on things around the house. He wants to give a special thanks to his mom for picking him up every day he has practice.
As a sophomore, Gwen is planning on attending the whitewater career center next year for cosmetology. She has been in multiple plays since the third grade. Including, Thoroughly Modern Millie Jr., The Music Man Jr., Singing in the Rain Jr., Annie Jr., School House Rock Jr., and Into the Woods Jr.. Daughter of Craig and Leslie Maddock, her hobbies in school include FCCLA, Youthquake, and Bleacher Bums. Gwen’s future plans are to graduate from high school and attend a school close to home and obtain her bachelor's degree. Her hobbies include hanging out with family and friends, and having fun. She would like to thank all of the cast, crew, and staff for this year's play. She would also like to thank the staff of Franklin County Community Theater and her parents.
As a sophomore, Kaylee Vestal is hoping to go to IUPUI when she graduates high school. She has been in one play; Seussical as Sour Kangaroo and now she is playing in the chorus of Little Women. As the daughter of Crystal and John Vestal, Kaylee likes to hunt and play on her phone. She would like to thank her mother and father for the support and Mr. Williams for inspiring her to do plays.
As a freshman, daughter of Amanda Gray and KC Gray, Alexa is planning on going to Whitewater Career Center for Culinary Arts. She has been in two plays; Seussical playing as a Who and Little Women playing a part as a Hag. She takes part in the Book Club, FCCLA, and Choir. In her free time she often spends time drawing, going outside, and listening to music. She would like to thank Amanda for picking her up after practices.
As a junior, Brianna has plans of graduating midterm of her senior year and attending Marian University for social work. She has been in five plays--The Jungle Book Jr. as a wolf cub, Aladdin Jr. as a Harem Girl, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown as a crew member, Grease as a chorus member, and Annie Jr. as Mrs. Pugh and an apple seller--and is playing the role of the Hag in Little Women. She is the daughter of Renee Bentley and is involved in 4H, Drama Club, Spanish Club, FCA, YouthQuake, Band, her church’s youth group, Champions Together, and she enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She would like to thank her mom, Renee, for picking her up from practices, the directors--Ms. Murray, Mr. Hofer, and Mr. Williams--and our wonderful pianist, Mrs. Ariens.
Karly Bergin is a sophomore at FCHS. She is the daughter of Mark and Kelly Bergin. Previous shows she was in are Grease as part of the ensemble, Annie as Mrs. Greer, Seussical as Mrs. Mayor, and Mary Poppins as Mrs. Brill. Unfortunately, Seussical and Mary Poppins were canceled due to covid. She is currently in Little Women as part of the ensemble. She hopes to become a zoologist or wildlife biologist. At school, she is in archery, color guard, choir, drama club, youthquake, and Spanish club. In her free time she likes to spend time with her family and her cat, sing, do makeup and play the piano and ukulele.
