Mental Health Education

at George Mason High School

At George Mason High School we strive to maintain a caring culture and community. During the 2019-2020 school year, we will begin to teach a mental health curriculum to our students during Wild Horse Wednesdays in their stable groups. This curriculum uses a public health approach and is not intended to be therapeutic. Instruction will be delivered in a co-taught setting with a classroom teacher and a member from the Student Services Team (counselors, social workers, psychologist).
