Matthew White is an experienced film and broadcast production educator who brings real-world industry knowledge directly into the classroom. With over a decade of teaching film and television production, his classes are built around hands-on learning, giving students the opportunity to create meaningful projects while developing technical skills, creativity, and confidence.
Before becoming a teacher, Mr. White worked professionally in television production, managing local cable channels and producing a wide range of original programming including talk shows, sports coverage, and community events. He has also contributed to nationally recognized productions such as American Idol and Trading Spaces. This industry experience allows him to give students an authentic look at how film and broadcast production works in the real world, helping them understand both the creative and technical sides of media production.
In the classroom, Mr. White is committed to creating a supportive, engaging environment where students can explore their interests and prepare for future careers. As a SkillsUSA advisor, he mentors students in leadership and competition, encouraging teamwork and excellence.
