I am very active/competitive and love to run, play soccer, and play tennis.
I'm from Kansas and adore sunflowers (no, I did not grow up on a farm).
I was once ranked #2 in Florida for online Tetris.
Popcorn gives me life.
I hold an MFA in Creative Writing and love to write fiction, poetry, and personal essays.
Other passions include photography, fiber art, and discussing/participating in creativity in general.
Welcome to English 10 and English 11! My name is Ms. Scharmann, and this is my first year teaching at FBHS. A little about me: I have two children--Avery (age 5) and River (age 3). I've taught a variety of courses, including creative writing, composition, and technical writing. Fort Bragg became my home in 2021, and I instantly fell in love with the raw, restless coastline.
