Mrs. Scown

Hey, everyone! I am Mrs. Scown. (It rhymes with "crown 👑" and "town 🌇")   You can remember how to pronounce it because it has a COW in the middle of it! 🐄

I was born and raised here in lovely Fort Bragg.  I moved down to live in the Bay Area for college, but my heart is always with the coast and I am so happy to be home.

When I'm not in the classroom, I love spending time with my horse, Mars; my border retriever, Rex; and my parents' labradoodle, Phoebe.

This will be another school year filled with different challenges, but I am so excited to work with my new team of 3rd grade students and can not wait to see how we tackle this year together.
