I like to hang out with my family, hike, bike, garden, cook and read. I am a 7th grade humanities teacher and have been teaching for 21 years, 16 years in the San Francisco Bay Area and this is my 6th year here in Fort Bragg. I moved here 5 and a half years ago with my family because I want to raise my family in this small beautiful community. I have been connected to this community since I was little and I am very happy to be able to call Fort Bragg home.
I love teaching students to think about the world and open their minds to all of the possibilities that are available to them. I have an undergraduate degree in history from Lewis and Clark College, a master's degree in anthropology and ethnohistory from Arizona State University and a secondary teaching credential from CSEB in both English and social studies.
I am very excited to teach this year's seventh and 8th grade Humanities class. This is going to be a great year!
