Algebra 1

Weekly homework assignments can be found on google classroom in the stream. 

Once we have finished a section of notes in class, I will upload the written notes the next school day onto google classroom under the "Classwork" tab. You can find all notes under the header "Class Notes."

Yes. Even with excused absences, you are still required to do all homework you've missed. I will however, grant you more time to do the work and will give you 2 extra school days to get your work turned in without a late penalty. Please make sure to write "ABSENT" on the top of your homework assignment/s, so that my Teacher's Aides know not to deduct points for it being turned in late.

Yes, as long as the work is from that grading period, you can turn your homework in at any time. HOWEVER, I will deduct points off of late work if they do NOT have ASSETs signatures. In order to receive full credit on your homework, you must turn your work in ON TIME or with a MATH ASSETs signature. 

a.) Turn in missing assignments

b.) Go to MY ASSETs and get 1 point extra credit for every time that you go & do work =]

c.) QUIZ CORRECTIONS! On a seperate piece of binder paper, correct the problems you got wrong. When you have finished, staple the corrections onto the quiz and turn it back into the box. I will add 1/2 the points you missed back onto your original score. This is the best way to raise your grade in my class.

d.) Test Retake. Consider retaking an exam at ASSETs. I allow students to retake 1 exam each semester. You must atted 2 ASSETs in order to do this. On the first ASSETs we review your original test and work together to make sure you understand what you got wrong and how to solve the problem correctly. On the second ASSETs you will re-take the exam. I will keep the higher of the 2 grades.
