The Final Countdown!!!

Welcome to the "payoff" year!!! AVID is now about completing those college applications and finding the resources to pay for it and skills to be successful once you venture off and I can't be more EXCITED! 

Most of the weeks will be silimar schedule in that we will be spending the Fall completing applications and the FHS general scholarship packet as well as the Dell Foundation one. We will also be doing grade checks and organization, but the majority of the time will be to work on these applications while there are adults and kids to help. We will have the college specialist come in to help and we will work on our ability to advocate for ourselves by calling colleges with questions. 

Parents, please reach out at any time with questions. This is the payoff year for you too! I am here to give (or fine) the answers of this crazy process!
