Labs and HPC

DICenter has a High-Performance Computing infrastructure named DICLUB.

From a computation al point of view, DICLUB consists of 35 computing nodes offering a total of 2368 cores and 86 GPU cards: 20 cpu-only nodes provides 1872 cores, while 15 special nodes offer 496 cores and 86 GPU cards (40 Tesla K80, 3 Tesla V100 32GB, 4 Tesla V100 16GB, 8 GeForce 1080Ti, 16 Tesla A40, 3 Quadro RTX 8000, 12 Nvidia L40S).

In terms of storage, DICLUB provides almost 283 TB of space organized in five areas that differ for redundancy and speed.

DICLUB resources are managed by the slurm job scheduler.

DICenter features also labs dedicated to:

• 3D metrology, 

• people tracking,

• integrated solutions for Internet of Things.
