ASK is our Missions Education Program for children ages Kindergarten-5th Grade. We meet on Wednesday nights from 6:45-7:45 pm. Our goal for missions is to help children realize that God calls each of us to love and serve one another. We focus on learning about missions in Kentucky, the United States and around the world. We teach our children about our church's missions partners and how we serve with them and support them. Our children actively participate in missions projects that include:
-visiting our church home bound members and nursing facility members.
-we also provide ministry to them through writing and mailing cards.
-we assemble Christmas shoe boxes that are sent to our ministry partner in Eastern Kentucky that are used to help school age children have a Christmas gift.
-we bake cookies and share with our community service personnel such as the local fire department, EMS, and police officers.
-we collect needed items for an area community ministry that serves people in need. Items that include school supplies, canned goods, toiletries, etc.
-each year our children bring offerings for our Vacation Bible School Missions Project that has included bringing coins to support our ministry partner Water with Blessings and bringing small toys and games that go to boys and girls who attend an after school club.
