Plan, Prepare & Participate in this year's Evans City Pumpkinfest.
This is the 5th annual Pumpkinfest and the festival continues to grow!  This team will be responsible for decisions related to how our church will be participating this year to provide kids/family entertainment and how we engage and evangelize the community.

Meeting Info:  Gospel Life Church on the 3rd Wednesday of the Month (7/15, 8/19, 9/16) from  6-7:30pm

Join the deacons as they care for the needs of the body here at GLC, as well as the needs of our community.  Service opportunities might include leaf raking, rides to church, snow shoveling or yard work, meals for families with new babies, hospital visits & care packages, cleaning for the elderly, or helping move furniture.   Spiritual growth is not just knowing more about Jesus, it's being more like Jesus.

Meeting Info: You must be able to attend the first meeting on Tuesday, July 21st at 6pm to be part of this group! 
                                After the first in-person meeting there will be two virtual meetings (Aug. 11 and Sept. 1 from 6-6:30pm).

North Boundary Park Fellowship meets Friday mornings from 7-8AM at the covered pavilion in the back parking lot of North Boundary Park in Cranberry Township, just past the Veterans Memorial roundabout. We begin with a short devotional and prayer time using selections from Shine Your Light, then break into groups to walk, run, hike, or enjoy the park together. The goal is a simple, welcoming time to seek God, grow in discipleship and friendship, and maintain a gracious presence in the community—come whenever it works for you, bring a friend or come alone, and join for as much or as little of the morning as you like.

A five-week class to review, plan, and prepare for facilitating the evangelistic series for unbelievers called Exploring Christianity.

Meeting Info: Each Sunday after church in August, then a 7-week course for unbelievers (dates decided by those in the group).  

If you have wanted to study the Bible on a deeper level, this class is for you! Pastor Dave will be teaching a class on the theology of the book of James, exploring the message of the book, what the book contributes to our understanding of theology, and the difficult passages. This study will help you not only understand the book but also have a solid base to teach others from the Scripture. Be prepared to read through James multiple times, research difficult passages, and explore the depths of this amazing book!
