General Information

Hours:

8:00 am to 3:30 p.m.  

(Extended  afternoon hours are available by request.  See Mrs. Eldridge to make arrangements.)

Coming in to the LMC:

For Students:  

• Make sure to get a pass from your teacher to come in during class.  You can sign up for a lunch pass to come in during your lunch time, too.

• You are scan your badge when you arrive and again when you leave.  You must have a pass and a badge to come in during the school day.

• Please respect the people around you.  If your behavior becomes a distraction to others, you will be asked to return to class. 

• Please  keep food and drinks closed up when in the media center.

For Teachers:  

• You can schedule a time to bring your class to the Library Media Center by contacting Mrs. Eldridge.  (jennifer.eldridge@fayette.kyschools.us or ext. 58048)

•  When sending students on hall passes, please limit students to 3 at a time from your class.  

• Passes should be filled out by you and include what you are asking them to work on.   It helps us keep them on task.

• If you run out of Media Center passes, e-mail Mrs. Eldridge and ask to have some put in your mailbox, or feel free to stop by!

Checkouts:

Books - Books are checked out for a period of 3 weeks.  Books can be renewed once to allow another 3 weeks.  

Calculators - TI 84+ and TI Inspire calculators are checked out for the entire school year.  Be aware that the replacement cost of these devices is $100.

Fines - We do not charge late fees for overdue books, but we will charge the replacement cost of lost or severely damaged materials.  

**Please note:  Any materials that are overdue by more than 6 months will be marked as lost.  A replacement charge will be added to the student account until the fee     is paid or the item is returned.
