Hello 7th Grade Students and Families,

This is the time of year that our instructor, Mr. Scott Davis, comes to talk to all of the interested 7th grade students about the Pre-Engineering Academy at Southside Technical Center. This program is open to any seventh grade student interested in furthering their knowledge of Advanced Engineering concepts beyond what is offered at their home middle schools. If selected, students will attend during 8th grade for half of the day, either AM or PM, depending on the school. Students applying at this time will attend during the Fall 2021 semester.

Since we cannot visit schools at this time, we ask that any interested 7th grade student please watch the video found in the link below. Interested students can then complete the google form using their Fayette County Schools provided student email account at the link below to receive more information and the Questionnaire/Application.

Questionnaires will only be sent to those who have requested by completing the google form below.

Questionnaires will be sent after April 2. Students need to submit the completed Questionnaire/Application by April 12 if they want to be considered for selection for the program. Home middle schools do not select the students for admission, Southside Technical Center will make the selection. The timeline for this process can be found below.
