Southside Technical Center is one of the Fayette County Career and Technical Centers. We serve high school students from Fayette, Scott, Woodford, and Jessamine County public schools, as well as 8th grade students from all Fayette County Middle Schools.
The Pre-Engineering program allows FCPS 8th grade students a first look at Career and Technical Education in the Industrial Technology field. The program uses project-based learning to relate technology to students' daily lives and give students some experience in the Industrial Technology fields. Students will use mathematics, science, and technology integration to develop a foundation of skills for high school and post-secondary success.
