PLD Boys Tournament Schedule 2024

July 23rd – Scott Co. Invite – Cherry Blossom

July 24th – KGCA invite – Lakeside

July 29th - Jackson Co Invite – Battlefield – (JV???)(CANCELLED)

July 30th – BDI – Kearney Hills – ALL Golfers – Varsity only will be playing. All others will be support staff for the tournament!

July 31st - Ortho Cincy Invitational – AJ Jolly GC – Alexandria KY

August 5th Model Boys Invite – Arlington

August 6th – Bourbon Co. – Houston Oaks - 2:00 PM (Cancelled due to time conflict)

August 7th - Mason Co.  Laurel Oaks CC (JV).  9 AM start.

August 12 – Bronco Invite - Kearney Hills - 9 AM Shotgun Start

August 18th – Judy Construction Invite – Houston Oaks – 2:00 PM

August 24th - West Jess Invitational - Connemara

August 31st – Eagle Trace – Morehead

September 2nd - Picadome - Lafayette 5 star.  BOTH V and JV will be playing.  

September 7th – Henry Clay Invite – Lakeside

September 18th – Fayette Cup - Picadome (Golfers participating will be excused from school that day)

September 25th - Regional Tournament - Gibson Bay - Richmond (Golfers will be excused from school to participate)

Match Schedule:

August 15th - FDHS @ Kearney Hills

August 22nd - Lakeside - Match with HCHS.  5 PM

August 27th - Practice.  All Players report to Kearney by 445 PM!

August 28th - Lafayette @ The Dome - 5 PM

September 5th - Bryan Station @ Kearney - 5 PM start

September 10 - Tates Creek @ Tates Creek.  5 PM Start.

Note about or matches:  When we play at Kearney, we will only have the top 6 players out on the course that day.  If we are playing away, our work schedules sometimes conflict with those tee times at Kearney.  So we will let you know via Sports You as soon as possible.  Anytime you are not in the top 6 and we are at home (Kearney) all other players are expected to have range time on their own.

July 15th – 12:30 PM – 18 holes.  Showcase/Tryouts

July 18th – 3 PM – 18 holes

July 23rd – JV Only

July 25th – Varsity/JV

July 30th – BDI – 9 AM – No practice

Aug 1st – Match with FCHS - See Sports You for details.  

Aug 6th – V and JV

Aug 8th – All Players (Picture day at 4 PM)

September 21st - Gibson Bay practice round.  (9:40 and 9:50 AM tee times)

When school starts, we will practice every Tuesday and Thursday @ 5 PM.  Kearney Hills.  There will be matches on some of the practice days, so watch Sports YOU closely!  9 holes per day. Range times TBD. 

Remember:  NO PUSH/PULL CARTS IN PRACTICE TIMES!  THIS INCLUDES THE TWO TRYOUT DAYS. 

I will be putting out a Fayette Cup Match Schedule as soon as we set that. 

All practice times are at 5 PM unless otherwise noted. 

Varsity members – Practice you will play from the #3 tees. 

JVs #2 tees.  If you get to 2 over on a hole, pick up and move on.  Double bogey Max. 

The only exception to the max stroke rule is if we are in a qualifying round for a tournament/match.
