I can’t believe I am in my 22nd. year of teaching! This is my 20th year at Northern and my 17th year in the library.

I received my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Kentucky and my master’s in Library Media Specialist from Eastern Kentucky University. I live in Richmond with my husband, Walter.  We also have two daughters. Madeline is a nurse in the NICU at Baptist Health.  Morgan is a college student working on a degree in dental hygiene.  We have 5 dogs that keep us busy as well!

I love to sing, crochet, and of course READ! I always look forward to passing that love of reading on to the students at Northern Elementary.
