The Math, Science, and Technology Center (MSTC) began in 1990 and is a program designed for students that are gifted in math or science. The program offers a rigorous curriculum, broad choice in class options, and the opportunity for an independent research project with a university mentor.
Hi, my name is Jayden Jeong, and I'm in the MSTC Class of 2026. Over the past four years, I've explored and dug deep into a variety of interests, including writing newsletter articles, editing music videos, designing websites and clothes, making PCBs, playing clarinet, and a whole lot more. But throughout it all, I've always found myself coming back to research and programming for its fun but challenging nature. Today, I work with the Vision Lab at the University of Dayton, Ohio, on 1) bringing AI to construction sites for worker safety, and 2) theoretical AI research. In the future, I want to further explore these passions with a degree in computer science.
