The Math, Science, and Technology Center (MSTC) began in 1990 and is a program designed for students that are gifted in math or science. The program offers a rigorous curriculum, broad choice in class options, and the opportunity for an independent research project with a university mentor.
Hi, my name is Hannah Kang, and I'm a senior in MSTC! Over the past few years, I've been involved in quite a few things, including playing the viola, debating, HOSA, Beta Club, and more. Outside of all this, I like to relax by reading, playing video games, or hanging out with my friends. With the Sanders Brown Center on Aging, my capstone project focused on understanding cognitive resilience to Alzheimer's pathology through data analysis. This fall, I'll be attending Northwestern University as a Neuroscience major, hoping to one day be a neurologist. Go Cats!
