"Google (SAML) IC Account Migration" means all Infinite Campus student and staff accounts will log in to Infinite Campus using Google credentials. This will be a minor change for staff, as staff already log in with their email address and network password. This will be a major change for students logging in to Student Portal, as students currently log in with their student number and IC password.
This is a required change for staff for all Kentucky public school districts.
The change allows staff and student access to IC through Google Drive's "Waffle", which most students already access on a daily basis to utilize our many third party eCurriculum products. This migration will also make Campus Student accounts more secure, as currently they log in to Campus Student using their student number and IC password.
All Staff and Student user accounts will migrate at 5 PM on October 4, 2020.
Staff will have more options for logging in and can use either of these options:
Log into drive.google.com, use the "Waffle" in the upper right hand corner and select "Infinite Campus" (screenshot #1 below)
In a web browser navigate to the Infinite Campus login screen, click: Single Sign-On (SSO) and log in with your email address and FCPS password (screenshot #2 below)
Students will have more options for logging in, and will use their email address and FCPS password. Students can use any of these options:
Log into drive.google.com, use the "Waffle" in the upper right hand corner, select "Infinite Campus" (screenshot #1 below)
In a web browser navigate to the Campus Student login screen, click: Single Sign-On (SSO) and log in with your email address and FCPS password (screenshot #3 below)
In the Campus Student app on a smartphone, click: Single Sign-On (SSO) and log in with your email address and FCPS password (screenshot #3 below)

After the migration, staff and students should not use the Username and Password fields unless instructed to do so by IC Support Staff.
Please click: Single Sign-On (SSO) to enter your login credentials.
The change is instantaneous. For IC User Accounts connected to Google (SAML), passwords are not stored in IC. As soon as you change your network password, the new password must be used to log into IC.
MUNIS is our authoritative source for staff demographic information. Contact HR if/when you have a name change. Once MUNIS is updated, your email address and IC username will update usually within 2 hours.
Yes. Your primary IC account that uses your email address will change to a Google (SAML) account and you will use the Single Sign-On (SSO) button. Your additional account usernames/passwords will not change, and will use the Username and Password fields on the main login screen instead of the Single Sign-On (SSO) button.
Campus Parent usernames and passwords will not change, however, please note:
It will affect the parent/guardian if they are using their child's Campus Student account to log in. They can request their own username and password here, and please encourage them to do so! apps2.fcps.net/ic-support/
Unfortunately, parents will see the Single Sign-On (SSO) button. They will not be able to log in through SSO; they must use the Username and Password fields to log in. This will be communicated to them via email but we anticipate it to be very confusing. We have submitted a request to IC to allow functionality to turn off the button for Campus Parent.
Yes, students, parents/guardians and staff will receive an email and Infinite Campus Process Inbox message regarding this migration.
