The Frederick Douglass High School Library program supports the FDHS vision & mission by providing resources that facilitate personalized learning, collaboration, critical & creative thinking, and academic inquiry. Through our professional staff, print collection, e-resources, and FDHSMaker HQ tools, we support, encourage, and enhance depth of learning so that our students are prepared to excel in a global society.

Students and staff may access the library's eResources 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

The main Library Media Center is open from 7:55 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays when school is in session.

The library is closed during 4th lunch unless a scheduled teaching/learning collaboration is in progress.
