Statement of Purpose
The Kentucky Shared Collection selection team is committed to selecting high-quality fiction and non-fiction titles that showcase diverse stories and shared experiences across the Commonwealth and the globe. The selection team curates ebook and audiobook lists for K-12 school libraries and academic library collections serving Education students. In this effort we use resources such as the Kentucky Bluegrass Award master lists, Project LIT Book Club selections, and professionally reviewed title lists, guided by best practices per Kentucky Library Media standards and the National School Library Standards (AASL).
