Through the FCPS Fab Lab, students and staff will be able to make their designs come to life eliminating the need for schools to use their own funds, time, and space.
Eliminating barriers to 3D design and printing and building creative and critical thinking skills for future and life-ready graduates, ensuring equitable opportunity and workforce success.
For our beginning students, we recommend designing in Tinkercad. Students as young as Pre-K can design using basic 3D shapes or draw freeform shapes using the Scribble tool.
For our more experienced designers, we recommend Onshape for Chromebooks. On a laptop, consider downloading Blender or AutoDesk Fusion 360.
