Tryout Assessments

In order to participate, each athlete must have a sports physical for the current year, completed by a heath care professional for the try out date. If you do not have a current physical on file you will NOT be able to try out. Form needed can be found On khsaa website.

2022 Tryout Dates:

All dates below are tentative and could change. Please check the website over the summer and our social media accounts for announcements about any changes.

July 15th- 5-7pm Open Gym and Physical Paperwork turn in and tryout number assignment

Tryout Date: July 18th

Time Breakdowns:

3:15-3:45pm Late Physical Paperwork turn in and tryout number assignment

4pm-4:30pm Physical Conditioning Assessment

• Tennis shoes, mask, water, hair tie, shorts

4:45-5:45pm Hitters/Setters

5:45-6:45pm DS/Liberos

1st cuts: posted online @ 7pm

After 1st cuts, remaining players are invited to come back.

7:30-8:30pm Team Competition

Final cuts will be posted online by 10 pm for girls who have made the 2022 FDHS Volleyball Program.

2022 Tryout Results:

Congratulations to the following athletes that have made the 2022 Douglass Program Roster. We will have practice tomorrow from 3-5:30 pm. The parent meeting for the season will be directly after from 6-7pm in the Douglass cafeteria. Each player will need a parent or guardian present for the meeting. Please bring cash/check to pay for insurance and other needs.
