The mission of the College and Career Center is to ensure all students achieve Postsecondary Readiness (PSR) by connecting them with career-focused learning, FAFSA/scholarship support, and the necessary tools (Industry Certifications, Dual Credit, Work-Based Learning) to successfully transition into their chosen path of Education, Employment, Enlistment, or Entrepreneurship.
What's Happening in the College and Career Center?
Determine what path you must take to achieve your goal
The Ultimate Goal
Your career is where your passions, skills, and goals all come together. It’s more than just a job — it’s the life you’re building and the impact you’ll make. Every path — college, military, apprenticeship, or straight to work — can get you there. The key is knowing your options and making your Major Move toward the future you want.
COLLEGE
Hit the books, chase your passions, and level up your skills! College gives you the space to explore what you love, earn a degree, and unlock doors to careers you’ve been dreaming about. Whether it’s a 2-year program or a 4-year degree, this path sets you up to succeed
WORKFORCE
Jump in, earn money, and start building your future now. On-the-job training, promotions, and professional growth can all happen while you’re working. This path is for go-getters ready to grind, learn, and rise in the real world.
MILITARY
Step up, serve your country, and build serious skills along the way. The military teaches discipline, leadership, and teamwork while opening doors to careers in tech, healthcare, engineering, and more. Plus, you get perks like education benefits and a network for life.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Entrepreneurship is about seeing a problem or a gap in the world and being the one to create a solution for it. Whether through a side hustle like tutoring or dog walking, or a more complex start-up—you develop critical life skills such as problem-solving, financial literacy, leadership, and resilience, all of which can be valuable regardless of your future career path.
