Jeanene Jones is a teacher librarian at SCAPA (Fayette Public Schools) in Lexington, KY.
With 21 years of teaching experience, Jeanene Jones currently serves as library media specialist at SCAPA of the Bluegrass, in Lexington, KY. Prior to working at SCAPA, Jeanene taught at Beaumont Middle School in Lexington, KY teaching English Language Arts. Before becoming a school librarian, she taught 6th grade English Language Arts and enjoyed sponsoring the Beta Club. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Secondary English Education from the Kentucky State University and both of her Master’s degrees in Curriculum & Instruction and Library Science from Univeristy of Kentucky. Jeanene is a current member of ALA, AASL, KASL and CKASL. Jeanene is serving CKASL as co-president for 2023-24 and 2024-25 school years.

Amanda Hurley is a teacher librarian at Henry Clay High School (Fayette Public Schools) in Lexington, KY.
With 23 years of teaching experience, Amanda Hurley currently serves as library media specialist at Henry Clay High School, in Lexington, KY. Before becoming a school librarian, she taught journalism, Newspaper and sophomore English at Tates Creek High School. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education (English) from Toccoa Falls College and her Master’s degree in library science from the University of Kentucky. Rank I was obtained through earning her National Board in Early Childhood through Young Adult Library Media. Amanda is a current member of ALA, AASL, KASL and CKASL. Amanda is serving CKASL as co-president for 2023-24 and 2024-25 school years.

Lindsey Depenbrock is a teacher librarian at Maxwell Elementary (Fayette County Schools) in Lexington, KY.
With 16 years of teaching experience, Lindsey Depenbrock currently serves as the library media specialist at Maxwell Elementary in Lexington, KY. Prior to working at Maxwell, Lindsey taught at Wellington Elementary and Northern Elementary in Lexington, KY and at Elkhorn Elementary in Frankfort, Kentucky. Before becoming a school librarian, she taught the third, fourth, and fifth grades. She enjoys sponsoring Battle of the Books reading warriors! Lindsey earned her Bachelor’s degree in elementary education at Georgetown College, her MFA in Children's Literature at Hollins University, and and her Master’s degree in library science from the University of Kentucky. Lindsey is a current member of ALA, AASL, KASL, and CKASL.
