PRIDE Expectations

At BSMS we expect certain behaviors and attitudes from our students to ensure a safe and conducive environment for learning. We follow PRIDE to help guide our students to remember what we expect to help them reach their full potential. Below are a few examples of these behaviors.

• Hold yourself and others to high standards to ensure learning goals are met.

Phone Policy

At BSMS we have a no-phone policy, this is to ensure your students can stay focused on their learning while at school. Each room has a landline that students can use if needed and messages from guardians can be delivered. We do require students to keep phones/headphones put up, if students cannot meet this expectation we will give them a warning first, then the teacher will collect the device to be stored in a secure location till the end of the school day and guardians will be notified. If it still continues to disrupt expectations then guardians will be asked to come in for a meeting to discuss these expectations.
