Dear BSHS Families:
We are excited to announce the dates for this year’s summer enrichment program! Summer Ignite will provide rigorous and engaging learning opportunities for our students, including topics to address physical and social-emotional health, allowing for continued progress towards key standards in preparation for next school year.
This year’s program will feature two sessions:
Session 1: June 6-30, Monday-Thursday
8:45AM to 12:45 PM
Session 2: July 25-29 (Transition Week)
8:45AM to 12:45 PM
Session 2 is designated for students transitioning to ninth grade (current 8th graders).
Who should attend Summer Ignite at BSHS?
Priority will be given to students in need of credit recovery opportunities, such as students who need to successfully pass a course to move onto the next grade level, and seniors who need to complete a specific course to graduate.
Students who will be entering ninth grade in August are eligible for Session 2 of Summer Ignite, called Transition Week. Transition Week is a great way for students to get prepared and excited as they enter our doors for the first time and begin their academic journey as a high school student!
You will receive additional information about your child’s eligibility and registration for summer learning in the upcoming weeks.
