Meet The Coaches

My name is Tolley Carter Sr.  I grew up in the Lexington area where I played football and graduated from Lafayette High School. I have been an advocate and coach for youth athletics in the Lexington community for over 15 years. I've coached the game to various age groups ranging from  7-14. I take pride in being a mentor, motivator, and doing my part to improve quality of football in our city. I not only coach talented players, I develop them from ground level.  My duties have spanned  from offensive/defensive line positions coach to offensive coordinator. Football is my passion however I consider myself a  coach in multiple facets of life. I joined the Beaumont coaching staff in 2020 as an assistant and became a full time staff member at the school in the fall of 2021.  I have worked in Special Education with an emphasis on learning behavior disorders with FCPS for many years.  I also offer community living support to individuals with special needs and train community youth in the sport of boxing during the off season. I believe a winning attitude is the foundational piece towards success. I am excited for the culture change to help resurrect Beaumont Middle School back to an elite football program. “I'm About it!” “We About It!” “B About it!”

My name is Coach Jonah Humphries, I am from Winchester Ky born and raised. I am a father of 2 wonderful children and married to an amazing wife. I played high school ball for George Rogers Clark, where I was a Wide Receiver and Safety. Coaching has always been a dream of mine and very fortunate to have the opportunity to mold these next set of athletes not only as ball players but young men. Excited for the season and Go Colts. 

Hello! My name is Xavier "Marco" Wingate (Coach Wingate). I was born and raised in Lexington KY, and I'm a 2009 graduate from Henry Clay High School where I played both football and basketball. I have over 15 total years of coaching experience, from youth to middle and high school levels. I have also coached multiple other sports including baseball and basketball. When I'm not coaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and 10-year-old son. I am enjoying my journey with the Beaumont Middle School Football Program, and I'm very thankful and blessed for this amazing opportunity to continue improving our young athletes each year. I am always excited to share my experiences and knowledge of the game with these amazing young men.

My name is Xan Ginter. I am originally from Clay City, Kentucky, but I now live in Richmond, Kentucky with my fiancé and our puppy. I graduated from Powell County High School where I was a former tight end / defensive end. I grew up with 5 brothers, so whether it be football, baseball, or basketball, sports have always been a big part of my life. I am a big fan of the college and professional game, so when I’m not coaching, you can find me watching. Encouraging and leading young athletes in becoming great sportsmen and even greater humans is a passion of mine, and I am excited to share my knowledge and experiences with the athletes of Beaumont Middle School.  

Hello, my name is Shawn Woolum and I am a lifelong football enthusiast. I am originally from Pineville, KY. I have been married to my wife Kim, for sixteen years, together we have two children, Sophie and Konnor. I am a 1995 graduate of Bell County High School, and after high school I went on to play college football for four years. I continued my passion for the game by coaching football at both the high school and youth levels, helping mentor and develop young athletes in my community.  

I am Tobias Carter Jr. better known as Coach TJ around the community.  I am a Lexington native and graduate of Tates Creek High School. Growing up in a sports family has molded me into a competitive person that loves playing and analyzing the game. Basketball, football, table tennis, if there is a winner, I'm giving my all. That is the mindset I pour into every kid I coach.  My passion is motivating young people to push themselves beyond their personal limits. I have spent the last 3 years coaching football and basketball at Tates Creek Middle.  I am excited for the opportunity to coach with my Uncle Tolley and help bring a championship back to Beaumont!
