FCPS has decided that for the 2025-2026 school year that a mix of Snow Days and NTI Days will be used. With a Nontraditional Instruction (NTI) day, school buildings are closed but students participate in learning at home. It counts as a school day and does not need to be made up or added to the calendar. You can read more about that decision HERE. When the district decides that a NTI Day will be utilized, the students at ACE will complete packets created by the district. These packets are linked below.
From Mr. Steelman
ACE Families,
NTI packets have been sent home for a total of eight days. Each day is clearly labeled. Please do not throw these packets away, as they will be used if we have an NTI day in the future due to weather.
Students will not bring home Chromebooks on NTI days. All assignments are paper-based and will not introduce new material. Work completed on NTI days will be reviewed for participation only, not for a grade. Participation credit is earned through completion of the assignments.
Students will have three school days after returning to turn in their completed NTI work.
If an NTI day is called, teachers will hold office hours from 8:30–10:30 AM. Google Meet links for office hours will be posted and easy to find in Google Classroom and/or ParentSquare to support students and families.
Thank you for your support and partnership as we prepare for potential NTI days.
