Messages of Hope

Messages of Hope was a joint project of five Holt middle school students from the spring of 2020 with 45 former musical huskies! Students at Holt had just been cast in our spring musical, Once on This Island, before the Covid pandemic reached Arkansas. As students went home with unknown plans and wrestled with the reality that we would be unable to perform the annual school musical, 20 years of Holt musical alumni from around the country participated in interviews and submitted musical video clips to create the musical revue below celebrating the history of Holt's musicals with five bold students who would not be deterred! Each episode is a collaborative musical video commemorating one of the 13 unique musical titles that has been performed at Holt during it's 20 years, followed by snips of interview clips from alumni of Holt's musicals.

The final episode, involving the entire group, is still in post-production and features "We're All in This Together," from High School Musical.
