CREW & CAST:

  • 📅 Double-check the footwear instructions and remaining calendar dates with your caregivers. (~5 mins)

  • 📝 Add your own layer to StageWrite and move it to the top of your layer list. This will ensure you have a place to keep your own notes. The previous layer that was called "My Layer" was actually a shared layer we could all see. Any notes you had placed in there will need to be moved, as they will be deleted soon. (~5 mins)

CAST:

  • 🖥️ Review the ProductionPro breakdown to verify you understand which scenes your characters are involved. (~10 mins)

  • 🗺️ Review the StageWrite charts for all scenes and note any differences. There are likely scenes Mr. Hart is still recording, but if you feel there is an obvious oversight, please ask. (~20 mins)

  • 🎬 Choose 2-4 scenes which need the most work from you and spend four sessions of at least 20 minutes each on them. (1 hour & 20 mins)

  • 💬 Review and practice your dialogue to ensure you can be off book while on stage soon. (~5-20 mins)

  • 📨 If you hope to be part of the RUNNING CREW, please message Mr. Hart. These should be students who feel they do not have many on stage moments and can assist with crew assignments on or off stage. They need to be available on Tuesday, April 29, 3:00-5:00pm.

CREW:

  • STAGE MANAGERS: 📝 Review StageWrite and note where objects & props are located, especially rehearsal cubes, and any additional stage directions that have been added on the digital script. (~1 hr)

  • DESIGNERS: 🙋🏽‍♀️ Ask Ms. Schoeller, Ms. Green, and Ms. Fuhrman for homework.

  • Colin:

    • 📝 Note any sound cues in StageWrite that you know need to be adjusted & share with Mr. Hart. (~30 mins)

    • 🎙️ Review & study the Sound Cue Google Sheet to begin using for practices. Create a practice station horizontally labeled paper "buttons," and complete one run-through of the entire show practicing muting and unmuting mics. (~45 mins)

❄️   Week 1   ❄️

Saturday, March 8th

Web Site Updates

Our first meeting and read-through was exciting, and the crew & cast for this year will be incredible on stage and off! They were kind and energetic throughout our time together.

Students are already behind on homework from last week (only 5 completed their work), mainly due to visiting the website and ignoring the home page messaging because they were excited to immediately discover their new roles. So this weeks' work is pretty heavy and includes repeating last week's work while also preparing for their first deadline this Friday.

Most information shared or distributed Friday can be found on the Communications (Remind link, Parent Info, & Social Contract) & Resources (Chromebook Agreement) pages. If you need a physical copy of pages to be signed and returned, please just message Mr. Hart, and it will be given to your child next week.

GROUPS:

  • DANCE CAPTAINS: Begin creating a few dance combo ideas for your ensemble songs.
