Discover the story of the Hawaiian musician who changed the world.
In 1889, a native Hawaiian boy, Joseph Kekuku, accidentally strikes the strings of his guitar with a bolt and unlocks a brand-new sound. Based on a true story, this new play uses a live slide guitar soundtrack and projections to trace the incredible invention of the steel guitar from the taro fields to vaudeville halls.
