Please carefully read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") operated by ChatLog (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", or "our") before using the ChatLog web and mobile application (the "Service"). Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By accessing or using the Service through your account, you agree to comply with these Terms.
Application: The ChatLog application available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Member: An individual registered to the Application. Members include subscribers.
ChatLog: An online dating application that enables Members to meet people with whom their paths have previously crossed or may cross, or individuals they may find interesting. The Application automatically presents Members with profiles selected according to their search preferences, profile activities within the Application, personal characteristics, frequently visited places, or locations. Information provided by Members on their profiles can influence these recommendations.
Member Characteristics: Information provided by the Member on their profile regarding lifestyle and personal attributes. Members can choose what information is displayed on their profile and filter other members based on these criteria.
Pass: An action expressing disinterest. This function is confidential, and no notification is sent. Passed profiles will no longer appear in the Member’s future timeline.
Like: An action represented by a heart symbol expressing interest. Subscriber Members can view the list of Likes.
Super Like: An action represented by a heart symbol expressing strong interest. Subscriber Members can view the list of Super Likes. The difference from the Like feature is that the Super Like appears at the top of the recipient's list.
Packs: Paid service bundles purchased by Members.
Profile Photos: Photos on a Member’s profile that facilitate easy identification. Members agree to share at least one profile photo.
Services: All paid or free services provided by ChatLog to facilitate virtual or real-life interactions between Members.
ChatLog Premium: Paid subscription-based ChatLog services available to Members for the duration selected by them.
Subscriber Member: A Member subscribed to ChatLog Premium.
My Account: The Member’s personal area within the application.
Hate Speech and Discrimination: Users may not engage in hate speech, threats, intimidation, or discriminatory language against other users or individuals based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.
Violence and Threats: Users may not promote or incite violence or threaten harm to others.
Intellectual Property Infringement: Users may not infringe upon the intellectual property rights (copyrights, trademarks, patents, etc.) of others. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of materials is prohibited.
Spam and Misinformation: Users may not send spam or spread misinformation.
Prohibited Content: Users may not share content that is obscene, sexually explicit, or excessively violent, inappropriate for a general audience.
Unauthorized Sharing and Privacy Rights: Users may not share other individuals' personal or confidential information without authorization or infringe upon their privacy.
Account Security and Privacy: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information.
Reporting Violations: Users may report any suspected violations of these guidelines via [contact email/phone/address].
Consequences of Violations: Violations of these rules may result in actions such as warnings, account suspension, or termination.
Account Security: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their accounts and passwords. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
A zero-tolerance policy is enforced against inappropriate content or malicious users.
Account Ownership: Each user may only have one account.
Third-Party Content and Links: Our Service may integrate with third-party applications. ChatLog has no access to data stored by these third-party applications and is not responsible for data breaches or disruptions.
Limitation of Liability: Content on our Service is not guaranteed to be secure or error-free. ChatLog is not liable for damages arising from the use of the Service.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify us and our affiliates against any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
Service Termination: In case of violation of these Terms, your account may be suspended or terminated without prior notice.
ChatLog reserves the right, unilaterally and at any time, to modify, add to, or terminate these Terms of Service.
The Member will be informed of any updates to the Terms of Service through the Application and/or via email sent to the email address provided by the Member. It is the Member’s responsibility to ensure that this email address is valid.
It is the Member’s responsibility to carefully read the updated Terms of Service and remain aware of any changes made.
Continued use of the Application's Services after the updates implies the Member's full acceptance of the changes made.
If the Member does not agree with the changes made to the Terms of Service, they have the option to terminate the Services and delete their Account.
ChatLog commits to providing the necessary infrastructure and technical resources to deliver high-quality services to Members using iPhone devices with iOS 10 or higher and Android smartphones with Android 5 or higher.
ChatLog cannot be held responsible for any malfunctions on the Member's device or compatibility issues between the Application and the device.
While every effort is made to minimize the risks of fraudulent access to ChatLog's system, it is not possible to fully guarantee network security.
ChatLog is not responsible for any faults, interruptions, or poor performance arising from the Member's internet service provider or any circumstances beyond ChatLog's control that might interrupt or negatively affect access to ChatLog Services.
Members must have a secure email account. Failure to take this precaution may leave the Member's account vulnerable to fraud, even though the probability is low.
ChatLog will attempt to warn Members against the risks of receiving spam messages or fake messages purportedly sent by ChatLog. Members must remain cautious and vigilant to avoid falling victim to scams and should report such incidents via the contact email address provided in the communication section.
ChatLog and its partners cannot be held responsible for any illegal or criminally punishable actions committed by Members, including but not limited to:
Any form of fraud,
Any commercial or professional activities,
Prostitution,
Identity theft,
Infringement of third-party intellectual property rights,
Violation of personal rights, such as image rights and privacy.
Such behavior may result in the suspension or termination of membership.
ChatLog, as a provider, has established a reporting system for notifying illegal, abusive, or harmful content.
A "Report or Flag" button is available at the bottom corner of each profile's detail screen, allowing users to report abusive or illegal content.
The identity of the person submitting the report will never be disclosed to the reported Member.
In addition to the in-app "Report or Flag" button, users can also send such information to ChatLog through our official contact address.
The Member is solely responsible for verifying the identity of the other party in real-life meetings. ChatLog cannot be held liable for any incidents that may occur during such meetings.
To become a Member, all of the following conditions must be met:
Be at least 18 years old as of the last birthday.
Agree to regularly update the information provided when accessing the Application.
Have read and accepted these Terms of Service.
ChatLog reserves the right to investigate suspected identity theft, false or misleading information, or reports from other users. If necessary, ChatLog may correct the Member’s profile information without misrepresenting it.
During the investigation, ChatLog reserves the right to suspend the Account of any Member under suspicion. If the Member fails to provide proof of identity or is found to be in violation of the Terms of Service, their Account may be terminated.
The Member agrees to have only one Account.
The Member must be honest and truthful in their statements.
The Member must share photos and/or profile information that allow for easy identification. Photos containing third parties or unrelated objects should not be shared. ChatLog reserves the right to delete any photos or profiles that do not meet these criteria at its discretion.
Do not share confidential information such as financial data belonging to others.
Do not share pornographic, immoral, or content that violates human dignity.
Respect the privacy of content and conversations shared with other Members through the Application and do not disclose such messages to third parties.
Do not violate intellectual property rights or personal rights.
Do not engage in activities that disrupt public order.
Avoid using offensive language, particularly racist or discriminatory remarks.
Comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Do not promote violence, terrorism, war crimes, or crimes against humanity.
Interactions with other Members must adhere to accepted etiquette and standards of politeness.
Do not interfere with the operation of the Application’s Services or infrastructure in any way.
Do not modify, copy, merge, decompile, or otherwise attempt to use the source code, algorithms, or software of the Application or ChatLog’s partners for purposes other than those outlined in these Terms of Service, especially for reverse engineering.
Do not use robots or tools other than those provided by ChatLog to contact other Members through the Application.
Do not use the Application to arrange professional services (escort or similar services).
Do not contact other Members to promote paid services or products.
Do not share account login information, such as username and password, with other Members.
Do not promote or advertise other services, especially competing services, and do not engage in any unfair competition practices.
Do not use the Application to organize gatherings or demonstrations.
The Member may not copy, distribute, or transfer technical data intercepted from the network connected to the ChatLog application.
Payments are processed through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account, depending on the device you use. Payments are managed and processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
ChatLog does not have direct control over payment transactions, exchange rates, fund transfers, or any fees associated with these operations. Therefore, Apple App Store and Google Play Store are solely responsible for their respective payment terms and processes.
As a result, ChatLog has no control over refunds for your purchases. Any payment-related requests should be directed to the store from which the purchase was made.
ChatLog does not collect any banking information. Your banking details are collected and processed directly by Apple or Google and remain outside ChatLog’s control.
User location data is collected by ChatLog with the user's consent to match them with nearby or most compatible individuals. If the user does not grant permission, location data will not be collected. This information will never be shared with third parties.
When the user agrees to share their location data, they accept the possibility of being matched with the nearest individuals within the ChatLog system.
When you create an account with us, you guarantee that you are above the age of 18, and that the information you provide us is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Inaccurate, incomplete, or obsolete information may result in the immediate termination of your account on the Service.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, including but not limited to the restriction of access to your computer and/or account. You agree to accept responsibility for any and all activities or actions that occur under your account and/or password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content in our sole discretion.
The Service and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of ChatLog and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of ChatLog.
Our Service may contain links to third party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by ChatLog.
ChatLog has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. We do not warrant the offerings of any of these entities/individuals or their websites.
You acknowledge and agree that ChatLog shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such third party web sites or services.
Disclaimer of Warranties: The use of our website/app/service is at your own risk. We provide our website/app/service on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that our website/app/service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We make no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content or information provided on or through our website/app/service.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to damages for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use our website/app/service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Subscriptions and purchases are managed by RevenueCat.
Subscription cancellations or renewals can be done through the app store settings.
The refund policy for purchases is determined by the store provider.
The application uses third-party services such as Facebook SDK and RevenueCat.
Users should review the terms of use of these services.
