Uliana Filatova is a Ph.D. ABD in Finance at Florida Atlantic University and a CFA® Program participant at CFA Institute (Completed Level 1 on May 15, 2024). Her primary research interests are corporate finance, corporate governance, investments, bond pricing, mutual funds, and M&As. She teaches undergraduate classes in corporate finance at Florida Atlantic University. 

Uliana published a paper, Analyst Institutional Client Catering and Reputation Tradeoff: Analysts' Strategic Timing of Recommendations, co-authored with Anna Agapova, Ph.D., in the Journal of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance (AJG 3 Ranked Journal, ABDC A)

Uliana Filatova holds an MBA from Florida Atlantic University, an International Certificate of Valuation Specialist - Advanced (ICVS-A) from CFIBV Center for International Business Valuation, and an ACUE Certificate in Effective College Instruction and received the 2024 Excellence in Ph.D. Student Teaching Award. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Finance University under the Government of the Russian Federation.
