Team Commanders

C/SA Ethan Guzman, Armed Drill Team Commander

Ethan Guzman was one of the cadets chosen to lead in higher positions and was asked stay with Armed Drill Team. Like Isaiah and Napu, Ethan began his ROTC Career with the Armed Drill Team performing in many exhibition drill events. Guzman, former MPO, now leads the Armed Drill Team and teaches the younger cadets so that one day they can take their post and the leaders can go on to have fair winds and following seas.

C/P02 Ryan Balatbat, Unarmed Drill Team Commander

Ryan Balatbat, the former MPO for the Unarmed Drill Team, spends time with academics and school being on the academic team for the Phoenix Company. Ryan is a "Game of Thrones Enthusiast" and NBA Fanatic.

C/PO2 Axel Provido, Color Guard Commander

Former MPO his sophomore year rose to the ranks of Color Guard Commander earning not only respect but a very noticeable amount of service hours that has been dedicated to the Phoenix Company Unit. Axel Provido is currently training and honing his physical skills to apply for North West Leadership Academy and spends his days leading the younger cadets and his Color Guard Team. He also finds time to balance Track and Field and academics.

C/PO2 Isaiah Perez, 1st Platoon Commander

Isaiah Perez spent his first two years in ROTC as an armed Drill team performer and as a defensive tackle for the FD Football Team, ,plays Rugby, and paddles for the FD Canoe Club. Isaiah also keeps an academic standing staying on the honor roll since his freshman year and was chosen to lead the incoming cadets along with Napu Cruz.

C/PO2 Napu Cruz, 2nd Platoon Commander

Napu Cruz like other cadets who rose to leadership positions for SY 2019-2020 came from the Armed Drill Team. A excellent performer in exhibition drill and also an excellent Cadet Napu with extensive experience with new cadets was chosen as the 2nd Platoon Commander to lead the incoming freshman and all other cadets in need.
