Cottage food laws:
Cottage food laws are laws that say who can make a food business at there home and not at a factory or something like that. It is very specific about what products can be made and selled to a consummer at a market place such as a farmers market. There is a list of diffrent food items. On one website it says that pickles are allowed to be sold made from home. But on others its not stated. So ive come at an impass in this journey. If pickles are not allowed in cottage food laws then if i wanted to continue on I would have to have government employs come to my kitchen and examine if it is a grade A kitchen worth of a resturaunt. Which could take months or weeks just for them to say yes to my kitchen, but its also a problem becase of my age they might decline becuase a 14 year old making food in mass is a little un easy to the stomach. There is alot of obsticles I need to hurdle.

I made a batch if pickles. The pickles didn't do very well. By not doing well they didn't soak up the brine so they where just cucumber flavored pickles. The reason they have not been soaking up the brine is one I did not cut them up into spears which would of made the progress much faster. Also I made refrigerator pickles whcih need to be

What I want to do after my failure of a first batch. want to make a new batch but what i'm going to do is use smaller jars and each jar I would do something different in. -Austin 2/18/2020 Update After the quarantine I went down to Florida with my mom and brother where I had to get new supplies and made 4 batches of pickles.
