Certificates
Exam certificates will be ready for collection around the end of term in December or very early January. Students will be contacted and asked to book a collection slot. It is very important that they are collected as these documents are the only official verification of exam results. Students may be asked to show these certificates to future employers etc so they must be collected and kept safe.
In order to collect certificates, students must have completed college clearance and have official photo ID with them (driving licence, passport etc).
The Registry team will organise a number of collection dates throughout the year (usually December/January, during February half term and again during Easter break) so if they are unable to collect them at the first opportunity, they must ensure they collect them on another occasion.
If students are unable to collect them in person, a parent/guardian may collect on their behalf as long as prior permission has been given (as part of the College clearance form). Parents/guardians will need to bring their ID in order to collect them.
The College is only required to retain certificates for 12 months from the date of issue. Replacements are ordered directly from the exam boards and cost approximately £40 per certificate.
