What are your opening hours?
Lower Bagnall: 8.00am- 5.30pm (Mon-Thu) 8.00am-4.10pm (Fri)
Upper Bagnall: 9.00am-2.30pm (Daily)
Library: 8.00am-4.00pm (Mon-Thu) 8.00am-3.30pm (Fri)
Whitehouse: Timetabled lessons only

Where are your rooms?
LRC Lower Bagnall
Located on the Ground Floor of the Bagnall Building with entrances on the Business Corridor, opposite Business 6, and the corridor between Reception and Registry.
LRC Whitehouse
Located on the First Floor of the Whitehouse Building with the entrance at the end of the Sociology Corridor. The First Floor can be accessed by both stairs or lift.
The Library
Located on the Ground Floor of the Bagnall Building next to LRC Lower Bagnall. The entrance is inside LRC Lower Bagnall.
LRC Upper Bagnall
Located on the First Floor of the Bagnall Building directly above the Library.
How can I reserve a study space?
Places in all rooms are available on a first come, first served basis. However, we also maintain and encourage a silent working environment, and students who are in violation of this are asked to leave.
Can I work in a group?
Whilst we understand the need for group working, we maintain a silent, independent study environment in all of our rooms. If you require collaborative working with access to a PC, we recommend visiting the computer spaces in Ranson and John Guy. If your group work does not require a PC, then we recommend visiting Greenhouse for this type of working.
How do I borrow or reserve a book or DVD?
Once you have found the book or DVD you wish to borrow, take it to the Library help desk and a member of staff will add it to your account.

Once your request has been processed and the item has been issued to your account, we will email you to let you know that it is ready to be collected.
How do I renew or return my resources?

To return your resource, please return the resource to the Book Returns box in LRC Lower Bagnall. Alternatively, you can bring the resource to the Library helpdesk where a member of our team will process this for you.
How do I print/photocopy/scan a document?
We have printers available in all of our LRCs, except the Library (but there is one next door in LRC Lower Bagnall).
Please read this document - Printer set-up instructions - on how to print from your desktop PC. To access your documents, scan your ID card on the panel on the printer, and select which documents to print.
To photocopy a document, place the document on the printer glass and login using your ID card. From there, select Device Fuctions, and then the Copy function. You will then be able to choose your photocopying options and follow the prompts on the screen.

How do I top up my printing credit?
Printing credit can be topped up at the following locations:
College Shop between 8.45am-1.30pm (Bagnall building opposite The Library)
Main Reception (Bagnall building)
Am I allowed to eat or drink in the LRC or Library?
Eating is not permitted anywhere within our study spaces. Drinking is allowed provided the drink has a sealed top that can be replaced when the drink is not currently being consumed, in order to prevent spills in our study spaces.
How do I find resources online?
Please view the video here which shows how to access online resources via the Accessit.
How do I access my subject resources?
Please visit the Subject Search page on Accessit, where a number of recommended resources are available to browse and borrow. These are all reviewed by your subject tutors on a termly basis and updated to reflect the latest recommendations for your course.
Can I borrow stationery?
We do not give out stationery at the desks. Please go to the College Shop if you need any of these materials.
Where is Study Support 4?
Study Support 4 is in the corner of LRC Lower Bagnall. Please check at the help desk if you are unsure.
It is currently reserved by Study Support and is not managed by the LRC Team. For staff wishing to use this space, please contact studysupport@farnborough.ac.uk
What support is there for EPQs?
The LRC can provide advice and guidance in finding resources for your EPQ.
If you would like to book a 1:1 session with a member of the LRC Team to help you find resources for your EPQ, please email lrc@farnborough.ac.uk. Your EPQ tutor may already be in contact with us to arrange class visits.
