Whilst I love the variety of topics covered in Psychology, I particularly enjoy considering the interaction of both nature (biology) and nurture (upbringing/experiences) and how they impact on our mental health.

My favourite area of Psychology has to be the biological area. I love how the biological makeup of our brain can influence behaviour but even more importantly how our own experiences can change the structure of our brain!

I really enjoy teaching sport psychology and how to improve an athlete's performance through improving self confidence and managing anxiety. Stats are fun too!

I am genuinely interested in all areas of Psychology. However, particular favourites are Social Psychology, Environmental Psychology, and statistics (it's like solving puzzles!).

The area of psychology that interests me most is mental health. I have always been interested in the causes behind mental health and have investigated this, in the past, as part of my degree.

I am very interested in sports psychology and it's applications to various sportspeople, together with graphology - the psychology of handwriting analysis.

I especially enjoy looking at the developmental area and the behaviourist perspectives as it gives a real insight into what external influences shape behaviour and so have real practical applications.

I really enjoy the social area of psychology as find it interesting how people change their behaviour around different people.

I particularly interested in Issues in Mental Health as our mental health affects every aspect of our lives. I like looking at the causes for mental health issues and how we can improve them to improve quality of life.
