Practical Industry Workshops

Throughout your training with us you will be exposed to industry based experiences such as theatre trips, specialist coaching and workshops. 

Workshops are led by leading professionals in their field and put the students through their paces. Workshops range from vocal coaching, advice and guidance about the industry, audition process, becoming a professional performer, and intense practical sessions learning repertoire from West End shows. These are an integral part of life on the PA course at the College to broaden and enrich students experience and knowledge of the industry.  

We take pride in our provision, offering expert advice for progression. To broaden our students experience so they can achieve their goals and get them ready for professional training, university and or direct employment. 

WORKSHOPS: Some previous workshops include:

• Vanessa Fisher (who played Danielle in 'Bring It On') taught a cheerleading dance from the West End show finishing with a Q&A about resilience and how to go about preparing for open auditions. 

• Grace Mouat (who currently plays Karen in 'Mean Girls') came in to teach a vocal masterclass with repertoire from 'Legally Blonde'.

•  Open Audition experience - Emily Grace-Ling (Currently in the 'Lion King') led a fast paced Open Audition session, to allowing students to experience this setting and tips on how to pick up repertoire quickly, how to be seen and audition etiquette. 

• Alumni - Ex-students who are freshly graduated from top colleges have come in to talk about their experiences first hand, discuss the audition process and practically prepare our students for their own auditions.
