In this unit, we explore criminal law in much more detail. We will cover the various 'homicide' offences such as murder and the types of manslaughter. We also study where the police get their powers from and how they must use these powers properly.
In addition, we cover many different 'property' offences, like theft and robbery, burglary and criminal damage. We will also look at how a person can argue their innocence by using a 'defence' - for example being drunk or being insane.
