Geography (A level)
Our A level qualification provides students with a broad and rewarding study of the world. Students have the opportunity to study physical and human geography, and to make the connections between the units. This course provides students with the skills and understanding to make sense of the world when looking at both the physical processes and landforms, and the way people interact with the Earth. Geography IS the subject to choose for a modern forward thinking student who wants to engage with topical issues! Students should have an enthusiasm for and an appreciation of the world around them and be prepared to keep up with what is happening in the world

Non examined assessment (NEA):
The independent Investigation
Geographical investigation - Independent Fieldwork - 20%
3,000-4,000 word individual investigation
You will be taught the techniques that will enable you to complete this during Year 12 and then you will complete this in the summer term of Year 12 (2025)
